SCRAMP Pit Row

Laguna Seca, CA

The Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP) is a highly visible part of the Monterey community managed by the Monterey County Parks Division.

Wald, Ruhnke & Dost, Architects, in partnership with architect Andy Anderson, was retained to develop new garages and hospitality suites for the County. This project required careful planning and coordination with partners and consultants for effective implementation and construction coordination.

Designed in multiple phases, this facility is over 860 feet long and provides 20 individual bays for automotive repair and storage on the ground floor, with 28 luxury hospitality suites across the entire second floor. Each luxury suite has private closed-circuit televisions, fixed tiered seating, a food/beverage bar and restrooms for corporate functions. Also included are catering kitchens, a concession facility and multiple accommodation toilet facilities.
