With over 14 years of experience, Dayv is responsible for the planning documents to ensure the design conforms to current building codes in addition to drafting construction documents and managing construction administration. His design experience includes mixed-use, hospitality, commercial and residential projects.

Eli De Los Santos

Eli De Los Santos

With over 25 years of experience, Eli develops construction documents from design development to working drawings used to build the space. Eli has been with WRD Architects for five years and specializes in multi-family housing, commercial and healthcare facilities.

Role: CAD Technician/Designer

Inspiration: I draw inspiration from so many sources – family, nature and people. My family offers me support and strength. Nature refreshes my body and mind. And stories of people chasing their passions encourage me to live boldly.


Madelynn Aquinaldo

Madelynn Aquinaldo

Madelynn has been with WRD Architects for more than five years and is responsible for the daily operations that keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. She excels in customer service and accounting.

Inspiration: I’m inspired by my family. My husband encourages me every day, and my two sons make me want to be the best version of myself.

Jenna Tyndall

With more than a decade of award-winning journalism experience, Jenna joined WRD Architects in 2014 as the company’s communications leader. She loves showing how the firm’s work transcends its beautiful exteriors and improves individuals’ lives while helping the larger community.

Role: Marketing and Public Relations Director

Community involvement:

Volunteer with Royal Family Kids, a nonprofit working with abused and neglected children in foster care (10 years)

Inspiration: Technology, efficiency and possibility — I’m fascinated with how shifts in our physical, digital or mental space can save us time, money or just make life better. So, it isn’t surprising that I have a lot of kitchen gadgets, a rebellious robot vacuum, and a good sense of humor.

Carol brings 30 years of business experience to WRD Architects and is responsible for general accounting and office management. She has been with the firm for 20 years.

Jim Irwin

With more than 40 years of drafting experience, Jim is a construction document leader supporting the design process from start to finish. He has served WRD Architects for 11 years and his work includes initial site analysis as well as drafting plans and submittal processing.

Armando Guido-Lopez

Armando Guido-Lopez

Over the past 10 years, Armando has been an asset to WRD Architects. The Cal Poly alum is responsible for design, project management, space planning, construction document production and construction administration for a variety of residential, retail, educational, commercial and medical projects. His experience has elevated the firm’s construction document production, 3-D presentation modeling and animation.

Role: Job Captain

Inspiration: “There’s not much to say, but a lot to do…,” or as my father put it, “No hay mucho que decir, pero mucho por hacer… .” His constant, kind reminder and strong example have been instrumental in my life. Born to immigrant parents, I inherited a resilient work ethic and appreciation for working with my hands. Today, I’m proud to work hard, like my parents, and apply my design skills to make a difference in our community.

Sara Simoni

A computer programmer turned interior designer, Sara brings precision, logic and creativity to her work. She began her design career with WRD Architects and returned to the firm in 2015. Now with over 10 years of experience, Sara is a versatile design leader known for creating innovative spaces for diverse industries including public works, hospitality, mixed-use, commercial and residential projects.

Role: Interior Designer

Inspiration: Our surroundings impact how we feel, and I want to help people enjoy their space. Whether cozy, relaxing, bold or refined, I take pride in creating interiors that are inviting and practical.


Misato Eddy

Misato Eddy

Misato is an interior design leader who has been with WRD Architects for 15 years. She cares deeply for her clients and works with them to provide personalized solutions. Misato is pivotal in managing the design aesthetic – both interior and exterior – to develop a seamless experience for users that meet the client’s goals and vision.

Vincent Velasco

Vincent Velasco

A University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign alum, Vincent excels in advanced computer modeling and presentation rendering. He is responsible for the firm’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives. Vincent joined WRD Architects in 2017 and has four years of design experience specializing in mixed-use and education projects.

Role: BIM Manager

Inspiration: My inspiration comes from my family, and putting my wife’s intellectual work into practice – understanding how spaces can highly charge our emotions, interactions, and provide some meaning to our everyday life – and fusing them together to create something that expands into the cultural, affective, and familiar. Also, dogs. They are good to wake up to in the morning.
